Gareth Emery has been one of dance music’s most exciting musicians, record producers, and DJs over the past decade. The British artist is best known for racking up millions of monthly listeners with his three artist albums – ‘Northern Lights’, ‘Drive’ & ‘100 Reasons To Live’ – all iTunes dance no.1 chart-toppers – the recent hitting the top spot in over 25 countries.
To this day, he continues to be at the cutting edge of innovation in dance music and its underlying industry, with his most recent projects including founding blockchain music startup Choon and co-creating and starring in the 8 episode satirical dance music show ‘We Are CVNT5’, created for Verizon.
On the touring side, his new live concept Laserface continues to generate incredible excitement from fans. Billed as ‘The World’s Greatest Laser Show’, it features Gareth’s music perfectly choreographed to hundreds of lasers by world-renowned laser designer Anthony Garcia. Since launching in late 2017, Laserface has sold out numerous arenas including San Francisco’s legendary 8,500 strong Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and headlined Los Angeles’s 15,000 capacity Dreamstate Festival.
In 2019, his next album is due for release – a co-write with frequent cohort and label-partner Ashley Wallbridge. ‘Kingdom United’ comes out May 10th on the pair’s own Garuda Music. With a Laserface World Tour underway, another solo album planned for 2020, and the Garuda label on fire, there’s no doubt that for Gareth Emery, the best is yet to come.
